We gotta teach him to stop biting though, and we're worried about wires and things around the house he could chew on, but hey, he'll learn.
GAWD I'm so happy, I think a dog is what we needed for such a long time, (he's underneath my chair as I type now) and I think he's adapted so well to us, he came from a 10 litter family (5 boys, 5 girls) to a mother who had only just turned 2 years old, which is quite a feat, only 2 years and a mother of 10, good god O_o, but he's from a loving family and he's come home to even more loving one.
